An important floatation

No doubt there are more pressing problems in the world, but the other night some friends and I were grappling with what a hedge-fund manager of mutual acquaintance should call his new yacht, currently on order from Princess.

I suggested various epithets, from the funny to the lame (Bailout, Liquidity, Too Big to Sail, Floating Charge) but the winner was a banking friend, with the inspired Quantative Ease.

  I have just had a day of in-house training by 7city. It was excellent, easily the best training I have had in my career. I am now considering going to some of their private courses, which look reasonable. I recommend Peter Scholar, their trainer, very highly.
- When time flies
  "If you lead an emotional life, if you are more aware of yourself and what is happening, you would feel that time passes slowly." I plan to try this.
